Rare
Heart Infection & Patients
Get The Wrong Medications
Antibiotics
have shown to protect some people from a rare heart infection,
but a new study suggests the patients who really need the antibiotics
aren't getting them.
Researchers led by cardiologist Warren Manning of Beth Israel
Deaconess Medical Center in Boston followed up on 218 patients
who had received echocardiograms, or ultrasounds of the heart.
They wanted to see if the appropriate patients were being given
antibiotics for prophylaxis use.
Ninety
percent of the 218 patients classified as high risk for this
bacterial heart infection called endocarditis were prescribed
antibiotics. However, only 60 percent of the moderate-risk
patients were told to take antibiotics and 25 percent of the
low-risk patients were also given similar instructions by their
physicians. In addition to those figures, researchers found
13 percent of patients told to take antibiotics were not following
their doctor's recommendations. Dr. Manning says "many physicians
appear to be lax about prescribing antibiotics for moderate-risk
conditions and overly zealous about prescribing antibiotics
for low-risk patients." Overuse of antibiotics in the past
has proven to dilute the drugs' efficacy in fighting bacteria.
Researchers conclude clarifying guidelines on antibiotic use
for preventing heart infections may help the problem. Here
is just another example of how important it is to protect our
bodies from unseen perils that attack without warning. The
only defense is to be prepared at all times and not let our
guard down when it comes to our immune systems. I worked for
a doctor in the back office for 3 years and had never heard
of this until about a year ago when I was researching heart
valve data for a client., I have found data about bacteria
or virus that attack every organ including muscle and joints.
When our bodies and immune systems get older and weaker as
we age, we need all the help we can get. Transfer Factor has
shown to work when antibiotics fail. Transfer Factor Plus was
designed to work on bacterial infections anywhere in the body.
Where do you harbor a hidden bacterial infection? Getting proven
protection with just 1 product was virtually unheard of 3 years
ago. We would use garlic, echinacea, golden seal, antioxidants
just to name a few. But NO MORE Transfer Factor Plus will give
your body what it needs to fight this bacterial infections.
We may never know all the different things our bodies are fighting
at any given time. But the immune system does and TF Plus keeps
re-educating and building your immune system daily. Enabling
it to give you the peak performance your health depends on
24/7.
