Transfer
Factor Immune System Increase ( NK Cells ) compared to
other products
History
Of TF
In
America there has been increased recognition of the possibility
of a biological or chemical attack or the long over due Killer
Flu.
The
question is posed to 4Life as to whether Transfer
Factor and Transfer Factor Plus would
be effective against these threats.
The
Transfer Factor Family exists for one reason to support immune
function.
As
with any threat to the immune
system, the speed and efficiency
with which an immune response is initiated will affect the
severity of the effects of that immune threat upon the individual.
A
strong immune system will respond more quickly than a weak
one. Transfer factors provide immune information that otherwise
the body might not have available, which information doesn't
come from any other immune enhancing ingredient.
We
understand that as antibiotics are resisted by the immune
threats, the need for immune support is critical and we will
continue to provide Transfer Factor in order to maintain
or improve health.
Consider
the following statements by Doctors:
"The 'priming
potential' of transfer
factors on the immune system opens a new world of protective
possibilities for us to take personal responsibility
for our own long term health." - William
Hennen, Ph.D. from Transfer Factor: Natural Immune Booster
"Whether
you are worried about contracting pneumonia the flu or
anthrax, having a strong immune system is critical." - Richard
Bennett, Ph.D.
Transfer
factors are small molecules of 3,500-6,000 kDa [Daltons]
molecular weight, consisting of oligoribonucleotides attached
to a peptide molecule. In the past, they were derived from
dialyzed white blood cells (WBC), but now can be purified
from bovine Colostrum. [As stated above] They are produced
by T-lymphocytes and can transfer the ability to recognize
a pathogen to cells that have not been in contact with the
pathogen (memory function). They also heighten the immune
system's ability to react (increased reactivity or inducer
function) to pathogens. Transfer factor probably produces
a trigger for T-cell recognition of antigen. On the other
hand, it may act as a gene product that assists in antigen
presentation to other T-cells
The Four
Fractions
(1)
This INDUCER FRACTION of transfer factor; links the
immune cells with an antigen-binding site, thereby increasing
their reactivity to an antigenic stimulus.
(2) SPECIFIC
ANTIGEN FRACTIONS "teach" the immune system to recognize,
search out and destroy certain invading microorganisms. While
the "memory" of these specific tasks is quite persistent,
time does allow that "memory" to fade. A renewal of those "immune
lessons" is required from time to time. This is the basis
for administration of "Booster" Vaccines.
(3) NON
SPECIFIC FRACTIONS instruct the immune system to recognize,
and eliminate toxins and those cells that harbor toxins and
the organisms that produce toxins.
(4)
The SUPPRESSOR FRACTIONS block the response of the T-cells,
and signals a down regulation of the immune response after
an adequate response has been made. This is useful in allergic
or autoimmune conditions. Never before has there been adequate
treatment for autoimmune conditions such as Lupus, Auto Immune
Hemolytic Anemia, Fibromyalgia and etc.
