Tracy and Troy Pinkerton had
a dog Named Alfie.
You
would never know he was over 12 years old.
He was so full of spunk and had made a happy trip to Yellowstone with his family
not long ago.
Suddenly
he began having seizures, The vet sent him home with seizure
medication. After a few days he was still not himself. He was
very unsteady and seemed dizzy and very tired.
So
they started him on the TF Animal Stress Pack and by the third
day he was back to his old self. Barking, running & jumping
almost like old times.
Then
10 days later he just quite eating, but was acting just fine..
So back to the vet they went.
Tests
showed he had only 20% kidney function.. The vet was amazed
that he had remained so healthy and the only physical problem
seemed to be his loss of appetite. An animal with 20% kidney
function will normally be carried into the office very ill.
Tracy
told the vet she had been giving him the TF
Animal Stress Pack. The vet had read the information, she had left for him earlier
in the year. So he asked her to bring the stress pack up to
the office and they would continue giving it to him along with
his medication.
The
veterinarian had this to say : " I am sure if it were
not for the TF animal stress pack he would not be doing this
well. The stress pack had giving him the ability to fight the
kidney problem despite his age..
Unfortunately,
his kidneys were worn out and the transfer factor had bought
him some extra time but he was not going to get better, he
was to old.
So,
They picked him up from the vet, and took him out to his favorite
park. He smelled the bushes, stuck his head into gopher holes
and
wet on everything he could. They sat in the park and listened to the birds
and enjoyed the sunshiney day. They let him ride in the car with his head out
the window, like he LOVES to do. He was very weak and wobbly, and couldn't
really hold himself up very well, but Tracy helped him a little. Then, they
took him back to the doctors and said their good-byes and he went to sleep
forever.
Tracy
adds: "It was a very hard decision to make, but we couldn't
take him home in those conditions. We wouldn't be able to even
give him his medications without him eating. We couldn't stand
the thought of bringing him home and watching him die slowly
from kidney failure and starvation. He deserved better than
that. So we gave him his last beautiful day at the park and
ended it there." Thanks for all your support and prayers.
I miss him terribly!.
So
this is my tribute to Alfie Dog, I was one of the lucky people
who went on that trip to Yellowstone with Alfie and my sister
Tracy. Alfie was a perfect dog in every way loyal, sweet, and
full of life. I will remember him barking at the buffalo walking
beside the road in Yellowstone trying to warn those big beasts
to stay away from his family.
I
hope this testimony helps others to see the power behind this
