Miracle for Murph
St. Bernard's Near Fatal Reaction to a Rabies

I'm
the owner of a nine year old Saint Bernard, born in a puppy
mill who has had more health issues than any animal should
have had in her life time. And without the aid of drugs she
has to this point not only survived these problems but has
continued to thrive.
For
the last five years of her life, after the first experience
of being told there was no hope I should put her down, I started
her on supplements used on humans.
Having
no idea what I was doing I just followed "gut" instincts and
together this dog and I have learned more than I ever planned
to learn about the body and it's ability to heal naturally
given the "right" nutrients. Both the human body and an animal
body!!
Having
said that I had decided this year not to have her normal vaccines
after discussions with a trusted breeder of Saints. This dog
is very old by Saint standards and so why put any more dangerous
toxins in her body.
I
live in the country and there are no local laws about vaccinating
animals so I wouldn't have been breaking any laws.
No
sooner, had I decided that then it was announced in the news
a man had died in British Columbia from rabies contacted from
a bat. Moreover, bats are one thing there's a lot of around
my area. Therefore, my concern for humans had to overrule my
worry about vaccinating Murph.
So
I took her to her vet clinic and after much discussion on how
amazing this dog was doing after having survived birth hip
dysphasia, a torque and cancer I made the decision with the
vet to have just her rabies shot…no other vaccines.
The
shot was done in her neck region … I'm going to assume because
of the problems she's had with her hips, long bone and stomach.
The vet was kind and loving with Murph even going so far as
to say she would take her outside to do the vaccine since Murph
was for the second time in her life stressing out being in
the vet clinic and breathing so hard the whole office could
hear her.
The
vet and I assumed she was scared she was going to be left there.
I left the clinic feeling good because for once a vet wasn't
telling me she should be put down or wasn't going to recover
from something.
Ironically,
within hours she reacted so badly to this shot … something
she has never done to this extent before with her shots.
Her
head was three times it's normal size. She was unable to get
out of my van unaided or get into the house herself.
Now
I was 1-˝ hours away from any vet and she was slowly dying
on me. Her breathing was very shallow and getting more shallow
by the second..
I
immediately called the clinic and got her regular vet who told
me to get an anthistamine in her immediately.
I
gave her a natural product that I have used for allergies.
Not knowing how many I gave her four and that seemed to work
to the point she finally was able to stand and go and drink
water…but the swelling was not noticeably coming down but she
was at least breathing normally again.
Finally
a friend brought the antihistamine the vet suggested but after
reading the side effects I decided not to use them…she was
already disoriented and the last thing I needed was nausea
or vomiting added to the situation. Using another drug to solve
a drug reaction didn't seem a wise choice for her.
Several
hours later I called Kris Barringer & Mac Barksdale DVM and
they told me to get her on the TF
Animal Stress Pack immediately and get as much in her
as I could.
So
I took ˝ a pak and put gobs of peanut butter in it and Murph
gobbled it down and then licked the small bowl I was administering
this from.
Within
one hour, her face was noticeably going down and she
was acting like her old self again. Wanted to go outside
and was showing interest in food again.
It
cost me $48.00 dollars to almost kill my dog…and less than
$10.00 to save her. Anyone that thinks these products are expensive
needs to rethink that reality. The antihistamine cost more
than the Transfer Factor I used.
Her
healing was quick…not stressful and I thank both Kris and Dr.Mac
for their time educating me once again. Thank you

Murph
is now getting a 1/4 pack of the TF
Animal Stress Pack daily and the difference is amazing
She is doing better now than she was five days ago before this
nightmare began.
This
is the only supplement she's been getting since the Rabies
experience.
Her
coat is shiny, she's eating well, sleeping well, not doing
her usual heavy breathing.
Best
of all, today it's very cold and even with the quick change
in the weather she's barely limping. Her normal
red and weepy eyes a sure sign she is stressed or in pain has
disappeared.
I'm
eating it myself now....tastes pretty good on top of my food.
Hey! My bones aren't aching either today.
The
quick weather changes usally affect me as well.
I
love seeing miracles...especially one this dramatic.
We
thank you all!
