Tracy and Troy Pinkerton had a dog Named Alfie.

You would never know he was over 12 years old.
He was so full of spunk and had made a happy trip to Yellowstone with his family not long ago.

We couldn't stand the thought of bringing him home and watching him die slowly from kidney failure and starvation. He deserved better than that. So this is my tribute to Alfie Dog, I was one of the lucky people who went on that trip to Yellowstone with Alfie and my sister Tracy. Alfie was a perfect dog in every way loyal, sweet, and full of life. I will remember him barking at the buffalo walking beside the road in Yellowstone trying to warn those big beasts to stay away from his family.
