The "Veterinary Wellness Center" educates
the patient on preventive medicine and options for pet health
and
longevity. One teaches a proactive approach, diet, exercise
and supplementation that results in enhanced health through
improvements in the animals immune system. Because of the provider's
credibility and relationship with the client, the provider
can educate the client to improve the wellness of the animal.

The
veterinarian is well accustomed to retailing product. Many
provide special pet diets, health supplements,
medications and skin care products. The 4Life line of products
will complement the Wellness Centers line of health maintenance
products. What follows is a business model to provide a suggested
structure to incorporate a "Wellness Center" within your practice.
Please
note, that because of the structure of the 4Life Research compensation
plan, you have the option of
RETAILING the product at a price that you set, based on your
market. Using the Retailing program, your clinic is paid a
25% rebate on all product ordered directly through your office. You
may add the standard markup for your practice to your wholesale
cost, remember, you set the price.
Or,
you may wish to take advantage of our “wholesale
customer program” which allows you to sell the product at wholesale
cost. Using this plan, your supplemental revenue will be generated
because of the structure of the compensation plan. Your clinic
will be paid a 25% override on all product sold through your
office or directly to your clients. 4Life Research would suggest
the following format for managing your Wellness Center: The
Center becomes an independent contract distributor, the provider
staff defines the policies and procedures the office staff
will use in dealing with the clients.
Our
goal is to design a system that fits within your clinics comfort
zone. 4Life Research will provide product
knowledge training for you staff as well as back office support.
A typical client introduction/education of the Transfer Factor
product line would be handled by the veterinarian during routine
client visit. The provider would discuss the role of Transfer
Factor Plus Pets products and broadly outline the need to enhance
the patient’s immune system.
The
client would ultimately be referred to the nurse/assistant/receptionist
for handling the client's ordering
process. The office staff works with the interested client
in selection of a product system. A limited product display
of key products may be featured in the office to provide client
information and "touch and feel". In the sales process, some
offices choose to maintain a small inventory of key products
to make available immediately to the client. Again, provided
at wholesale cost. Most offices require the client to pay for
the product purchases via, cash, check or credit card to keep
the transaction an independent business unit, separate from
the medical treatment fees.
Alternatively,
the office staff may assist the client in placing a order directly
with the company, via an
800 order line. The product would then be purchased directly
from the company using a credit card. The product is shipped
directly to the client’s home address. Because the state sales
tax is charged at the time of the wholesale purchase, 4Life
Research is responsible for paying sales tax to the state in
which you operate your business. This eliminates additional
paperwork for the office/accounting staff. In both cases, when
the client becomes a repeat buyer, the client order is placed
directly through the company, delivered to the clients address,
again eliminating further staff involvement. In most cases,
clients will choose to arrange automatic delivery from the
company on a specific date each month. Please note that repeat
orders are compensated under the compensation plan in the same
way.
The Economics of the Wellness Center: The Transfer
Factor Product line is a source of revenue for your practice,
as well as a way to assist you in your goal of promoting wellness
and enhancing the immune system of those animals with serious
health challenges. Again, the structure of the compensation
plan allows your client to purchase product at wholesale cost.
The Wellness Center is then paid commission directly
from 4Life Research of 25% of all clients orders. Example:
450 clients x 79.90 (wholesale cost of l Transfer Factor Plus
and 1 Canine TF) =$35,955 $35,955 monthly wholesale volume
x 25% = $8,988 commission paid to the Center monthly With this
client usage, the Wellness Center would produce an average
of $8,988.00 per month, $107,865 per year, with modest incremental
expenses to the practice. It is important to note that approximately
68% of our product users are on autoship. Autoship delivers
the product directly to the client on a monthly basis. This
of course can be canceled at any time. It is a very convenient
way for the client to have a consistent supply of Transfer
Factor. Autoship also increase your monthly volume without
any hands on involvement from the Wellness Center. The Center
is still paid 25% commission on all product ordered through
autoship.
Health care providers typically focus on introducing
and supplying the products through their practices. They may
also introduce and sponsor other personal associates into their
own Wellness Center programs. In this way, the provider may
produce additional revenue sources by earning commission (5%-12%)
of the volume produced in the other centers
