Restoration
of immune function must be a priority in the fibromyalgic.
We have two products available which in independent laboratory analyses have
been shown to have properties that are vital in restoring immune system function.
They are TRANSFER FACTOR™ and TRANSFER FACTOR PLUS™.
Transfer
factors are small messengers in our immune system that are
vital in providing the direction which an immune response
should take. They have three functions. They can stimulate
the immune system to begin a response once a threat against
our well-being occurs in our body. These are called INDUCER fractions.
Transfer factors have another fraction that identifies the
threat that has occurred so that the stimulated immune system
can produce a SPECIFIC response directed toward that SPECIFIC threat.
This fraction of transfer factors literally possesses memory.
These molecules circulate throughout the immune system and
provide education about what the threat looks like by actually
carrying what could be compared to a "wanted poster" around
and in essence tell the immune system cells to design weapons
(antibodies) that will be effective toward the SPECIFIC threat.
Another
word for "germ" is "antigen". We refer to these fractions
of transfer factors as ANTIGEN SPECIFIC. Are you following
how this works? Let's review a moment. Some threat enters
into the body. Transfer factors quickly tell your immune
system that a threat has appeared and INDUCES your
immune system to become more active
so that it can defeat the threat. But the immune system may
ask "what is the identity of the threat?" "It is this particular
germ (antigen)", the ANTIGEN SPECIFIC transfer factor
fractions answer. Obviously, the quicker the threat can be
identified the quicker is the response. The lag time between
the introduction of the threat and the identity of the threat
and the immune response toward that threat is critical. Quick
identity and response means we don't become ill or if we
do become ill that the illness will be less severe and of
shortened duration.
